Hi, I'm Roxann Christensen, a Nationally Certified Asian Bodywork Therapist. These are a few workshops I hold to help people who suffer from posture-induced back pain, the flu or common cold, and chest congestion.

Walk-Away-Your-Back-Pain
After working with many people with low back pain, I realized the majority of them were continually recreating the pain with the way they walk, sit and stand. In the workshop I introduce people to the basic structural principles of an ergonomically correct walk that at the same time is a natural muscle-massaging walk.
In a one-hour workshop you can learn the self-healing technique of turning on your "automatic massage machine" and walking away your pain.

The Splenic Pump
In acute infections, such as the flu or the common cold, we need a method to quickly mobilize the body's defense system.
Do you know there's a quick and easy Osteopathic procedure that you can do for someone who has the flu or cold?
The Splenic Pump is an easy, effective way to stimulate the spleen, thereby speeding up the immune system's response time. The track record for this procedure is that people who've experienced it are feeling better the next day and are usually at 90 - 100% a couple days after. The Splenic Pump is painless, quick and easy to learn and can make a great difference.
Call me and we'll set up a workshop. If you're not in the Phoenix area, it's all available in Dr. Steve Davidson's book "Manual Medicine" a primer: http://www.healthabounds2.com/pages/osteopathic-learning-products/manual-medicine-a-primer.php

The Thoracic Pump
In the pre-antibiotic days of the 1917-1918's flu epidemic - this osteopathic procedure that saved thousands of peoples lives when the secondary bacterial pneumonia showed up.
Have you ever felt at a loss when a family member is having a hard time breathing from chest congestion. With the doctors ok for use, this procedure can be helpful in conditions such as: pneummonia, bronchitis, asthma, flu and colds.
I learned this procedure directly from Dr. Steve Davidson. After using it when my daughter was having an asthma attack, and seeing all the other conditions in which it can be helpful, I decided to help get the word out. I think it should be taught right along side of CPR.
Workshops are very easy to set up, so just give me a call. If you're not in the Phoenix area, this procedure, too, can be found in Dr. Steve Davidson's book "Manual Medicine" a primer: http://www.healthabounds2.com/pages/osteopathic-learning-products/manual-medicine-a-primer.php |
